For twenty years my work was walls. Murals, gilded lettering, marbled surfaces, a stretch of decorative finishes in a studio north of New York. None of that fits in an envelope.

Drawlery is the part of it that does. I letter the words by hand and paint the marks with a brush on paper, then scan everything and clean it up on screen. You buy a file, but the crooked edge of a letter was made with ink. Repaired ceramics and marbled objects are coming later this year — same hands, different material.

Every poster comes in five aspect ratios, so you can print A4 in Europe, Letter in the US, or something large at a local lab. I keep the palette narrow and the type loud, because a poster has about two seconds to do its job on a wall.
